For over a decade, Project Alianza has worked to expand education access in rural Central America, ensuring children—especially girls—stay in school and develop essential literacy skills. Under Kristin’s leadership, the nonprofit reached more than 170,000 children in hard-to-reach areas, built and formalized schools in dozens of rural communities, and trained more than 400 local women as community educators and literacy advocates. By blending digital learning and grassroots leadership, Alianza has developed a sustainable, scalable model for education impact.
